According to E! News, the “Twilight” actress and her “American Idol” contestant fiance will be exchanging vows during a ceremony in Malibu, California on Sunday, October 16th.

The nuptials will be a private affair with the couple also said to be holding a rehearsal dinner in Los Angeles tonight (October 15).

Offering up a few details, a source told E!, “He’s [Paul] going to play with his band at the reception. He’s got some surprises for Nikki.”

The wedding plans come after Nikki and Paul announced their engagement back in June of this year, which surprised many seeing that they’d only been dating for three months.

The Walking Dead‘s first season ended with a number of unanswered questions, but as the zombie drama lumbers toward its Season 2 premiere (Sunday, 9/8c, AMC), there’s really only one question to be answered: Can the show live on after the exit of executive producer Frank Darabont?

Darabont, who spent years developing Robert Kirkman‘s graphic novel series for the small screen, was suddenly relieved of his showrunner duties in the middle of production on Season 2 and replaced by his No. 2, Glen Mazzara (The Shield). They were loved up in London, and she brought him with her to Shanghai, and these are photos of Kate and Ned arriving in San Francisco. They’re all hand-holdy and love-gazey. Ugh. Ned is Richard Branson’s nephew, and the situation around his “single” status is slightly complicated – it was widely reported that he was married when he and Kate first got together, more than a month ago. The marriage thing is weird, though – when he and Kate first got together, he was “separated” from his heiress wife Eliza, but his wife wanted him back and she wanted to work on their marriage. They had only been married for two years or so too – and Ned JUST filed for divorce, according to his wife. Eliza Pearson told The Telegraph: “The decree absolute should come through soon, maybe this month.” Here’s more:

“Kate would never become involved with a married man,” says one of her chums. “Ned’s wife left him and he was very upset. Kate didn’t get to know him until the decree nisi had gone through.”

Pearson, 23, does not dispute this version of events. “I broke up with Ned,” she tells me. “I won’t disclose the reason, but the split was very amicable. We’re still the best of friends. I’m not seeing anyone else.”

The heiress, whose family’s wealth is estimated to be more than £1 billion, declines to comment on his relationship with Winslet. Last Sunday, I reported that Rocknroll had bought a vintage love locket for the 36-year-old star of Titanic that cost thousands of pounds.

“They are very serious about each other,” says another of Winslet’s friends. The couple have, however, tried to avoid being photographed together.

Confusingly, Pearson declared in July: “I’ve changed my mind about divorce. I am hoping this will turn out to be more of a break than a total separation, because the longer we are apart the more it’s making me realise how much I miss him.”

She added: “It went wrong, but it’s not as if it was a shotgun wedding – we’d been together for four years. I have never stopped loving him and we are soulmates – that doesn’t come along very often.”

Really, Kate? This is the best you can do? Granted, I think this guy might have some hidden talents – he pulled a billionaire heiress and now one of the most famous actresses in the world, and he doesn’t seem to have any job – or maybe he has the kind of career where he can just follow his ladies around. What‘s that job? Boy-toy to an Oscar winning sugar mama? Seriously, what does he do? I have no idea. Oh, well. Whatever makes her happy. I get the feeling Kate is still wanting easy, uncomplicated relationships, but this guy is making my Sketchy Radar ping.

Fashionista Rachel Bilson may have been out picking up Halloween supplies (if the bag is any indication), but she isn’t looking all that enthusiastic about it! Maybe she was tired? She definitely looks tired.

I keep wanting to move things up this month: I keep telling myself Halloween is next week when it’s actually in about two weeks. And I don’t know why I’m in a rush, since Halloween signals the beginning of the holiday season when things really get crazy- LOL.

But, hey guess what? There’s a new trailer out! And it actually deals with the plot of the movie! Let’s take a look, shall we?

So as best as I can tell, Amy Adams and Jason Segel are the Muppets’ biggest fans. They’ve planned a big trip to L.A. specifically to go crash Muppet Studios. They also appear to have a Muppet of some kind with them– his name, it appears, is Walter– though it is unclear whether they found him at Muppet Studios or whether he’s a lone Muppet that they befriended earlier and brought with them. And then, when they finally GET to Muppet Studios, something magical happens: Kermit appears! Hoorah! But the Muppets, you see, need Amy and Jason’s help. They want to get back into show business– but the problem is, they’re not famous anymore. What to do? Why, build your way back to the top, of course! Backstage farce? Feel-good, life-affirming drama? Who knows. But there will be chickens. There will be explosions. There will be amazing, unexpected cameos. And I CAN’T WAIT.

Rick Ross apparently thinks he’s invincible.  Because after 2 seizures in a 24 period yesterday, he’s getting back to work and hitting the stage tonight.

*UPDATE* Rick Ross ended up not performing tonight afterall as the concert was cancelled.

We’re no doctors or anything, but after having 2 seizures on two different planes in one day just doesn’t seem like something you could perform a whole show after.  

But Ricky Rozay thinks so.  The rapper is set to rock the stage at North Carolina A&T’s homecoming concert tonight at Greensboro Coliseum, according to TMZ.  Let’s hope all goes a well.

We caught the Saturday matinee of How To Succeed In Business (Without Really Trying), starring Daniel Radcliffe and John Laroquette and….

In the vast cannon of Broadway musicals, this show gets redone so much!

Why?????

We don’t get it!

Yes, it’s a solid show. Fun. But not a timeless classic! There are so many other shows deserving of a revival on Broadway! Like Man Of La Mancha or The Wiz, which haven’t been done in forever. And taking Hedwig to Broadway would be so rad too!

While we don’t LOVE the source material, this production of How To Succeed is really good! The direction, sets, costumes and all the bells and whistles we love in a big Broadway show were great. The acting and singing and dancing was great.

And Daniel Radcliffe was especially great! It’s worth seeing the show just for his performance alone! He can act! He can sing! He can dance!

And he’s sooo likeable!

Lady Gaga was so thrilled to be performing in front of former president Bill Clinton last night, she used a certain four-letter word most people don’t use around former presidents.

 
When she took to the piano during her set, Gaga remarked to Clinton, “If someone had told me so many years ago that I’d be doing that right in front of you I just would not believe. I would have given a good American f**k you.”

At least she’s patriotic.

The former “Beverly Hills 90210″ star and her man said their “I Do’s” in front of around 120 guests – with the nuptials taking place at sunset in a canyon setting in the northern part of the west coast locale.

According to a source on-hand, the ceremony was described as “a simple yet elegant affair with the walk way to the pagoda running over a swimming pool and two children acting as bridesmaids with both dressed in black.”

The insider added that the ceremony lasted for about 30 minutes before everyone got up and disappeared under the canopy of trees and into a marquee tent holding the reception.

Making for Miss Doherty’s third go at marital bliss, the wedding festivities will also be televised via the season finale of Shannen and Kurt’s upcoming reality show for WEtv.
